What is yoga?

Yoga literally translates to mean ‘to yoke’ or ‘to unite’. The entire practice embodies guidelines to unite your body, mind, and soul. Yoga in western culture cuts off the mind and soul elements and focuses on the body or the workout alone. The true meaning of yoga is not about getting a good workout. It is about slowing down, becoming aware, letting go, opening, and so much more. When the body, mind, and soul are all included in the practice, we can find space to:

  • heal old wounds

  • find intention behind our actions

  • react from a place of awareness

Your yoga practice is what you make of it. It is your practice and yours alone.

 

Group

Group classes are offered at various times throughout the year. These are virtual at the moment. You can find information about our upcoming classes at the link below.

Corporate classes are offered on-site or via Zoom. Classes can be purchased individually or in a package.

We offer a range of private group classes. We offer yoga classes for clubs, birthday parties, wedding parties, retirement parties, or any type of group you want to accommodate. Classes are offered for all ages. Classes are offered via Zoom or at your location.

Individual

Individual yoga sessions are offered in a variety of styles. Each class is customized to meet the needs of the client. Styles include:

  • Vinyasa

  • Hatha

  • Restorative

  • Yin

  • Kundalini

  • Trauma Sensitive (TCTSY)

Classes are offered via Zoom. An initial phone call to discuss your needs and preferences is optional.
